Heimstaden, a real estate owner and developer, agreed to acquire HD Ejendomme, an online portal for rental housing, from Niam, a real estate private equity firm, for $2bn. Heimstaden will acquire the portfolio, which comprises 152 residential properties with 6 237 units encompassing 594 400 square meters, 35 commercial properties totaling 182 700 square meters, and nine land plots, with potential for the development of 73 600 square meters.
