Linde and Sipchem formed a joint venture.

Linde, a global industrial gases and engineering company, and Sipchem, an integrated petrochemical company, formed a joint venture to build up a world-class industrial gases network in Jubail Industrial City by connecting via pipeline the existing hydrogen and syngas plants. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We strongly believe in Linde’s capability to provide best-class expertise in terms of operations and technology. We also believe that both parties, with existing operating plants in Jubail, will be in best position to develop Industrial Gasses networks in Jubail and other Industrial Cities in the Kingdom," Eng.
