The Great American Outdoors Group terminated its acquisition of Sportsman’s Warehouse for $790m.

The Great American Outdoors Group, a parent company of Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, White River Marine Group and a collection of nature-based resorts, terminated its acquisition of Sportsman’s Warehouse, an American outdoor sporting goods retailer, for $790m. The deal was terminated in December, 2021, after Federal Trade Commission's feedback that led the companies to believe they would not receive clearance to close the deal.
