Challenger, an investment management firm, agreed to acquire MyLife MyFinance, a banking operation of Togethr Trustees-backed Catholic Super, an Australian industry superannuation fund, for $26.4m. “The integration is progressing well. The bank distribution strategy is focused on building early momentum with direct to consumer capability. We will also broaden the bank’s lending capability to support returns," Richard Howes, Challenger Managing Director and CEO. On July 29, 2021, Challenger received an approval from the Federal Treasurer for the acquisition of MyLifeMyFinance.
