Nat Turner, D1 Capital Partners, a global investment firm that operates across public and private markets, and Cohen Private Ventures, a long-term investment company, completed the acquisition of Collectors Universe, a provider of authentication and grading services, for c.$853m. “After careful consideration, we are pleased to have reached an agreement that reflects the remarkable value creation Collectors Universe has achieved through its consistent execution during these challenging times. On January 20, 2021, the offer was increased from $700m to $853m.
