Riverside, a private equity investment firm, completed a minority investment in Kohlberg-backed Area Wide Protective, an operator of a chain of traffic control facility intended for communities, non-profit organizations, private contractors and major public utilities. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Given our strong relationship with AWP and Riverside’s prior ownership of the business, this investment was an easy decision for our team.
