Leggett & Platt completed the acquisition of Avica Aerospace Ducting from Meggitt.

Leggett & Platt, a diversified manufacturer that produces a broad variety of engineered components, completed the acquisition of Avica Aerospace Ducting, a provider of high pressure ducting products, from Meggitt, a British international company specialising in components and sub-systems for the aerospace and defence. Financial terms were not disclosed. Leggett & Platt, Incorporated’s aerospace offering will be significantly enhanced with the addition of Avica Aerospace Ducting, boosting its existing aerospace tube product line. A key factor in Leggett & Platt’s acquisition of Avica Aerospace Ducting was its attractive fundamentals, which included strong in-house design capabilities, a niche product line and its end markets.
