KB Sports Investment, a suburban Chicago based investment firm focused on early stage venture capital investments at the intersection of sports and technology, completed the acquisition of a stake in Sunderland AFC, an English professional football club based in the city of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Financial terms were not disclosed.
