Ravago Group, a manufacturer and distributor of rubber, plastic, and chemical products, completed the acquisition of chemical distribution division from Grupo Indukern, a company operating in chemical distribution and in the development, manufacture and marketing of pharmaceutical and veterinary products, for $226m. The acquisition allows both companies to grow its presence in the market since both businesses are fully complementary on product lines and geographies served. With Indukern joining the Ravago Chemicals family it confirms our strategic direction to become a strong player in the specialty chemical sector. Ravago Chemicals is already active in markets such as CASE, PU & Polymers, Water, Life Science, Care and Base Chemicals, among others.
