Synopsis

Edit

De Heus, a fully-fledged nutritional supplier, agreed to acquire a 40% stake in Exportslachterij Clazing, a food processing company. Financial terms were not disclosed. De Heus has always said that it wants to continue to focus primarily on its core activity; animal feed. In Clazing, De Heus found the right partner to take over its interest in Van Miert's slaughterhouses. This step brings two leading poultry slaughterhouses together and creates a combination with a lot of future prospects.
