PAI Partners-backed Angulas Aguinaga to acquire Copesco & Sefrisa for €30m.

PAI Partners-backed Angulas Aguinaga, a provider of canned and cured fresh, frozen, smoked, and cured fish and seafoods, agreed to acquire Copesco & Sefrisa, a Spanish manufacturing and distributing seafood gourmet company, for €30m. "In our 2020-2025 strategic plan that we have named 'We leave', we have set ourselves the objective of becoming a food multinational, leaving fishmongers, but also going out fishmongers. This purchase is a very important step because it gives us a leadership position in two key categories such as salmon and cod," Ignacio Muñoz Calvo, Angulas Aguinaga CEO.
