Synopsis

Bott Group, a manufacturer and supplier of workshop equipment, in-vehicle equipment and workplace systems, agreed to acquire ELABO, a mechanical engineer in Crailsheim, Germany, from Zech Group, an international, medium-sized family business. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We believe that our takeover of ELABO offers us additional opportunities and the potential to grow our industrial workstation storage solutions business. We can now offer our customers a wider range of products and services. ELABO is well-established in the area of laboratory, assembly and testing workstations. In the past few years, the Bott Group has focused on the area of industrial assembly workstations. We can see clear and promising synergies between the two business sectors and believe that we can continue to grow further together in both markets. From a strategy perspective, the acquisition of ELABO is therefore an important milestone for Bott," Jan Willem Jongert, Bott CEO.
