Polaris Capital Group to acquire Increment P from Pioneer.

Private equity firm Polaris Capital Group agreed to acquire Increment P, the car navigation and mapping business of Pioneer, a Japanese technology conglomerate. Financial terms were not disclosed. Even after the transaction is executed, Pioneer and Increment P will continue to collaborate on the development and provision of map data as each other’s most important partner.
