HDFC Capital, a Real Estate Private Equity Investment Manager, and Cerberus, an American global alternative investment firm, formed a joint venture. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This platform, in partnership with Cerberus, has the potential to provide an impetus to the real estate sector by providing capital solutions to developers and restarting stalled housing projects,” said Deepak Parekh, HDFC Capital Chairman.
