Pall, a global supplier of filtration, separations and purification products, completed the acquisition of a minority stake in Andelyn Biosciences, a pharmaceutical company, from Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a nationally ranked pediatric acute care teaching hospital. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Gene therapy advancements have the potential to cure debilitating diseases and improve the lives of millions of people around the world, but challenges with limited capacity and expertise in the critical area of viral vectors continue to slow development and must be addressed.
