KKR, Providence and Cinven-backed MasMovil to acquire Euskaltel for €3.5bn.

KKR, Providence and Cinven-backed MasMovil, a telecommunications operator in Spain, offered to acquire Euskaltel, a Spanish telecommunications company, for €3.5bn ($4.1bn). “MasMovil and Euskaltel together form a solid and complementary industrial project,” MasMovil. On July 12, 2021, Euskaltel's board recommended its shareholders accept the transaction.
