BlackRock agreed to acquire a 50% stake in a portfolio of nine potential offshore wind projects of Influx, a developer of renewable projects in Japan and Korea, for $50m. BlackRock's investment represents a pipeline of nine projects to form part of multiple auction rounds in the upcoming Japan offshore wind auctions, the last of which is expected to occur in 2025. All projects are expected to be operational by Q1 2031.
