Platinum Equity completed the acquisition of Club Car from Ingersoll Rand for $1.7bn.

Private equity firm Platinum Equity completed the acquisition of Club Car, a global manufacturer of golf cars, utility, personal transportation and other low-speed vehicles, from Ingersoll Rand, an American Irish-domiciled diversified industrial manufacturing company, for $1.7bn. "Club Car is an attractive platform for strategic partnerships and prospective add-on acquisitions that can help further extend its reach into new geographies or adjacent markets.
