FountainVest Partners to invest in SPT Group.

FountainVest Partners, an Asian private equity firm, agreed to invest in SPT Group, a provider of micro miniature products. Financial terms were not disclosed. The cross-border transaction covers SPT’s headquarters in Switzerland and its subsidiaries in China, the Philippines, Singapore and Japan with several carve-outs. The founding family retains a minority stake in SPT.
