New Deal

Announced

Sber to acquire Muzlab.

Synopsis

Sber, a state-owned Russian banking and financial services company, agreed to acquire Muzlab, an operator of a music streaming company dedicated to creating a musical atmosphere for brands. Financial terms were not disclosed. "As a result of the deal, we’re uniting the musical expertise, technology, and algorithms to work with big data and recommendations of B2B and B2C services, merging this with the Sber ecosystem’s potential to work with businesses of any size throughout Russia. Companies — and I’m speaking about Sber ecosystem clients first of all — will get new opportunities for audio branding and music-assisted communications with customers. This includes cases when they are outside of merchant locations," Mikhail Ilyichyov, Sber CEO.
