Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of Absorb Software, a provider of cloud-based learning management system software, from Silversmith Capital Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm, for $500m. “Over the past four years, Silversmith has been instrumental in helping our team transition from a founder-led company to a scaled, global enterprise.
