Altor-backed Nordic Tyre Group to acquire RAC Tyres from RAC Group.

Altor Equity Partners-backed Nordic Tyre Group, a wholesaler of tyres in Sweden and Finland, agreed to acquire RAC Tyres, a wholesaler of tyres in Norway with amongst other exclusive distribution rights to Pirelli and Maxxis, from RAC Group. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are very impressed with the development of the Norwegian companies acquired, a result of highly competent management and personnel. We look forward to working closely together across the three countries, however with local strategy and presence," Mats-Ove Eriksson, Nordic Tyre Group CEO.
