UnitedHealth Group to acquire Landmark Health.

UnitedHealth Group, an American for-profit managed health care company, agreed to acquire Landmark Health, a provider of health care services. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We believe this will enable legacy health systems, healthcare groups, and new entrants like Landmark to bring new and innovative care models to the market. We see this as measuring and rewarding us for our ability to improve outcomes and reduce the overall cost of care for the patient population, without being bound by traditional service payment systems," Chris Johnson, Landmark Vice President of Development.
