Seven Group to acquire Boral for $8bn.

Seven Group, a diversified investor, offered to acquire Boral, an international building products and construction materials group, for $8bn. Seven Group said it would be happy if the offer increased its stake to 30%. Seven Group was legally unable to buy any more Boral shares until October, without making an offer for the company in full.
