SoftBank Vision Fund, a company providing growth capital and social impact investments, led a $330m Series D+ funding round in Dingdong Maicai, a self-operated freshness platform and a life service app that provides distribution services. Dingdong Maicai plans to use proceeds from its latest funding round to spruce up its supply chain. The firm has previously considered an IPO in the US as early as this year to bankroll its expansion in the competitive fresh food delivery market.
