Tradeka-backed Lehtipiste to acquire Karto and Putinki from Minela Foundation.

Tradeka-backed Lehtipiste, a provider of press product distribution services, agreed to acquire Karto, a firm engaged in the card and gift industry, and Putinki, a nationwide card and gift operator with store operations in three stores in Helsinki, from Minela Foundation. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The acquisition of Karton and Puting fits well with Lehtipiste Group's growth strategy. The goal is to bring new synergistic growth areas alongside the parent company's single-issue distribution. The synergy consists, for example, of Lehtipiste's nationwide transport network, which also supports the company's responsibility goals," Janne Mansukoski, Lehtipiste President and CEO.
