THACO to acquire E-mart Vietnam for $148m.

Synopsis

Truong Hai Auto, a provider of automotive services, agreed to acquire E-mart Vietnam, a hypermarket retail company, for $148m. “Our strategic alliance with THACO will not only pay us royalties for using the E-mart brand in Vietnam, but also give us the opportunity to export our private brand products,” E-mart Representative.
