Mérieux NutriSciences completed the acquisition of a majority stake in UCGS.

Mérieux NutriSciences, a provider of lab testing, analysis, support and certification services, completed the acquisition of a majority stake in UCGS, an independent laboratory specialized in food testing. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are very enthusiastic about having the talented team from UCGS join us, and warmly welcome them to Mérieux NutriSciences. This acquisition strategically complements our activities in China and will contribute to develop our chemistry offering in the region and for the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) market," Nicolas Cartier, Mérieux NutriSciences CEO.
