Arcelik to acquire Whirlpool Beyaz Esya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS from Whirlpool for €78.3m.

Arcelik, a Turkish white goods manufacturer, agreed to acquire Whirlpool Beyaz Esya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS, Whirlpool's wholly owned subsidiary of production plants and a storage area in Turkey, from Whirlpool, an American multinational manufacturer and marketer of home appliances, for €78.3m. “We’ll determine a roadmap in order to use production plants and storage areas in a more effective and growth-driven way after we complete feasibility studies,” Hakan Bulgurlu, Arcelik CEO.
