Nippon Investment Company completed the acquisition of Pieroth Japan from Pieroth Wein.

Nippon Investment Company, a growth capital investment firm based in Tokyo, completed the acquisition of Pieroth Japan, a multi-channel wine distributor in Japan, from Pieroth Wein, a wine producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Now that the independently managed Japanese operations have been sold, Pieroth intends to focus entirely on the German and European markets in future.
