Vollmann Group to acquire Westfalia Metal from Heitkamp & Thumann Group.

Vollmann Group, a family-owned company focused on the production and distribution of metal and plastic components for the automotive industry, to acquire Westfalia Metal, an automotive OEM and Tier I supplier and offers a wide range of high-quality body and chassis components, as well as seat parts using high-strength steel, steel and aluminium, from Heitkamp & Thumann Group. Financial terms are not disclosed. "With this transaction we are successfully completing the process to focus on our strategic business units H&T Battery Components and H&T Presspart within the Heitkamp & Thumann Group and are fully concentrating our resources on our core competencies and on our strongest markets," Christian Diemer, Heitkamp & Thumann Group CEO and General Partner.
