FORCIT completed the acquisition of O-Pitblast.

FORCIT, a manufacturer of explosives, completed the acquisition of O-Pitblast, a developer of business productivity software intended to serve the mining industry. Financial terms were not disclosed. With the acquisition, O-Pitblast Lda’s global business will be integrated into Forcit’s operations. Following the transaction, Forcit as a group already employs almost 500 people in Finland, Sweden, Norway and now also in Portugal. O-Pitblast will continue to operate as an independent affiliated company as part of international civil explosives functions.
