Synopsis
Knorr-Bremse, a firm engaged in the development, production, marketing, and servicing of automotive parts, agreed to acquire Evac, a provider of integrated water and waste management systems and corrosion protection systems. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Reliable, integrated sanitary systems are an operationally critical component for train operators, necessary for train availability. It is also an important element for passenger comfort. Combined with our expertise in remote diagnosis and maintenance, and thanks to our globally represented service network, we can offer vehicle builders and operators a high level of added value in the form of reliable service that is available at all times, including for sanitary systems,” Harald Schneider, Knorr- Bremse Member of the Management Board and Responsible for the Sanitary Systems Business Unit.
