Banca Transilvania to acquire Idea Bank Romania from Getin for €43m.

Banca Transilvania, a banking institution with headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, agreed to acquire Idea Bank Romania, a Romanian bank based in Bucharest, from Getin, a financial holding company, for €43m. „We are proud of what was achieved by our companies in Romania. As a foreign investor, Getin Holding is very happy to have contributed to the development of Romanian economy. As part of our philosophy, having completed our mission we are happy to see our Romanian assets becoming part of Banca Transilvania group - the largest and most dynamic player in the market," Piotr Kaczmarek, Getin Holding CEO.
