Iberian Sports Retail Group to acquire Sports Unlimited Retail from JD Sports for $20m.

Iberian Sports Retail Group, a sport-goods retailer, agreed to acquire Sports Unlimited Retail, an apparel retailer, from JD Sports, a chain of retail stores, for $20m. "By consolidating our sporting goods businesses under the ISRG umbrella, we are absolutely confident that the transfer of SUR to ISRG will bring long-term development opportunities to both the team at SUR and their international brand partners," Peter Cowgill, JD Sports Chairman.
