AMC Networks, an American entertainment company, completed the acquisition of the remaining 50% stake in The History Channel Iberia, a distributor of documentaries via pay television, from Hearst, a global, diversified media, information and services company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The incorporation of The History Channel Iberia’s team, channels and content into our company represents an opportunity to expand, diversify and create new opportunities and products in the field of payment.
