Announced

Italian Wine Brands to acquire Enoitalia for $181m.

Synopsis

Italian Wine Brands, a company engaged in production and distribution of wine, agreed to acquire Enoitalia, a wine producer, for $181m. "A wider product and brand portfolio, an expansion of the customer base, a greater territorial diversification of sales, the entry into the ho.re.ca sector, a doubling of volumes with synergies productive and commercial: in short, more competitive strength. I thank the Pizzolo family for sharing this ambitious project and for the decision to remain an active part in IWB. Thanks also to all the people of IWB, who have made the group grow over the years with tenacity and vision. Today a new chapter in our history opens, we have achieved what we promised at the time of listing and that is to become a leading aggregator pole in our sector. From here we start again, with even greater enthusiasm and determination, with a well-established team and with clear and shared growth objectives," Alessandro Mutinelli, IWB President and CEO.
