Westlake, a global manufacturer and supplier of materials, completed the acquisition of the North American building products businesses of Boral, an international building products and construction materials group, for $2.15bn. “The combination of Boral North America’s product lines with Westlake’s building products businesses will greatly expand our housing-related building products business and extend our presence in North America," Albert Chao, Westlake President and CEO.
