Oaktree, an asset manager, completed the acquisition of Mayr-Melnhof Group’s virgin fibre carton plants and Baiersbronn Frischfaser Karton, for €105m. “Over the years we have successfully invested in multiple packaging assets in Europe and believe that the FBB market offers attractive future growth and innovation opportunities,” Hermann T. Dambach, Oaktree European Principal Group Managing Director.
