Abdul Latif Jameel-backed Almar Water Solutions, a global water infrastructure development and services business, completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in Aguas y Riles, a provider of sustainable water management solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are reaffirming our focus on municipal and industrial water services with local partners, in order to together expand our expertise and financial capacity to other areas of Latin America – an area with high water demand, a large degree of inequality in the distribution of resources and which still has high effluent treatment needs," Carlos Cosín, Almar Water Solutions CEO.
