JP Morgan agreed to acquire OpenInvest, a financial technology company that helps financial professionals customize and report on values-based investments, from Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator and QED, three venture capital firms. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This acquisition further advances our strategic focus on sustainable investing, and we are thrilled to welcome OpenInvest to JP Morgan," Ben Hesse, JP Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Head of Strategy and Business Development.
