Livingbridge completed the acquisition of a majority stake in World of Books from Bridges.

Livingbridge, a private equity firm, completed its acquisition of a majority stake in World of Books, a second-hand book retailer, from Bridges Fund Management, an investment management firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “As the largest reseller and recycler of books in the UK, the business has already supported many UK charities and literacy causes, as well as allowing millions of book readers to discover great quality used books. We are excited to bring our eCommerce and internationalization experience to the business," Susie Stanford, Livingbridge Investor.
