NB Aurora to acquire a 30% stake in Comet for $42m.

NB Aurora, a private equity investment firm, agreed to acquire a 30% stake in Comet, a manufacturer of rubber and silicone compounds, for $42m. “Comet represents an excellence in the Italian industrial landscape which has been able in over 40 years of history to establish itself for its ability to be always at the forefront in a sector, the one of the development of tailor-made high quality natural and synthetic rubber compounds, which has always been characterized by a strong conservative trend.
