Caixa Capital, a private equity and venture capital fund management company, and CDTI, an investment management company, agreed to invest in AlgaEnergy, a developer of photobioreactor plant. Financial terms were not disclosed. The contribution of the new shareholders will enable AlgaEnergy to increase the capacity of its production facility in Arcos de la Frontera, to further its progress in new international markets and to hasten the development of new applications.
