Wehkamp, an owner of an online retail store, agreed to acquire kleertjes.com, an operator of an online clothing store for babies and children. Financial terms were not disclosed. kleertjes.com will maintain its unique brand identity, which is well known, and customers will gradually see faster deliveries, later order times, additional assortments and an improved website experience. The acquisition will also further strengthen the position of both companies in the important children's clothing market, which is central to Wehkamp's focus on the family.
