Vy Capital, a venture capital fimr, led a $205m Series C funding round in Neuralink, a developer of the brain-machine interface that provides solutions for those with paralysis. Additional investors include Google Ventures, DFJ Growth, Valor Equity Partners, Craft Ventures, Founders Fund, Gigafund, Robert Nelson, Blake Byers, Sam Altman, Fred Ehrsam and Ken Howery. Neuralink aims to implant wireless brain-computer chips to help cure neurological conditions including Alzheimer's, dementia and spinal cord injuries and fuse humankind with artificial intelligence.
