Elbrus Capital, a private equity fund, and iTech Capital, a global private equity and venture capital investment manager, led a $43m funding round in Aviasales, a firm that compares cheap flights from hundreds of airlines and travel agencies. “The Russian flights and travel market is one of the largest in Europe and is strongly rebounding after the Covid-19 induced crisis.
