Raiffeisen Bank to acquire Crédit Agricole Srbija.

Synopsis

Raiffeisen Bank, an Austrian banking group, through its Serbian subsidiary, agreed to acquire Crédit Agricole Srbija, an all-purpose bank, from Crédit Agricole, an international banking group. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Serbia is a very interesting market for us and offers an attractive growth potential. Crédit Agricole Srbija is an excellent strategic fit to our bank in Serbia and the acquisition will support our growth ambition in the market,” Johann Strobl, RBI CEO.
