Synopsis
Kansai Electric Power, a provider of electric power, heat supply, telecommunications and gas supply services, agreed to acquire a 49% stake in Louhukangas and Möksy wind farms from Ilmatar, a Finnish energy company and an independent power producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Construction of the Louhukangas and Möksy wind farms will begin in autumn 2021. The subsidy-free projects, located in Finland’s Ostrobothnia region, will comprise 36 Vestas turbines with a total rated power of 216 MW.
