DBAG-backed Heytex to acquire TenCate Outdoor.

DBAG-backed Heytex, a manufacturer of heavy-duty fabrics, agreed to acquire TenCate Outdoor, a manufacturer of technical textiles primarily focused on tent and sun awnings market. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With this company acquisition, we strengthen our base with special technological knowledge and complete our product portfolio. Last but not least, the company acquisition enables us to gain efficiency through synergies in purchasing and sales," Hans-Dieter Kohake, Heytex Chairman.
